The new Ford EcoSport Active compact sports utility vehicle delivers versatility, capability, rugged styling and sophisticated technologies for customers in Europe.
A new Ford EcoSport Active variant features unique exterior and interior styling alongside increased ride height and additional body protection for greater rough road capability – helping adventure-loving customers get the most from their active lifestyles. Offering powerful, fuel-efficient 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol and 1.5-liter EcoBlue diesel engines, the new Ford EcoSport Active is also available as sporty ST-Line and stylish Titanium variants. Advanced technologies include SYNC 3 connectivity, Pre-Collision Assist, and Traffic Sign Recognition.
Dynamic, bold, and refined exterior styling can be enhanced with optional extended contrasting painted roof colours. A user-centric, upscale interior offers a superior occupant experience with a floating central 8-inch touchscreen.
The 2021 Ford EcoSport Active rides on an exclusive set of 17-inch wheels and can be visually distinguished by all the black accents on the outside and the new eco-leather upholstery inside. The new Ford EcoSport Active is positioned near the top of the range, which means it comes loaded with features such as cruise control, an eight-inch touchscreen, heated and electric mirrors, LED daytime running lights, tinted windows, and electric windows front and rear.
Created mainly for the European market, the new Ford EcoSport Active will be built at Ford’s plant in Craiova, Romania together with the other versions and the newer Puma / Puma ST crossover. Locally, it will be offered (at least initially) with a turbocharged 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine in the 125-horsepower configuration and a six-speed manual transmission.
