At a time when circumstances have required a break in the usual fast pace, the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, with their 510hp 2.9-liter V6 Bi-turbo engine, are not slowing down, augmenting their supercar-level performance for MY2020 with a wide range of design, technology, and safety upgrades.

The new MY2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia and Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio are a showcase for Alfa Romeo excellence and an even stronger expression of performance and unmistakably Italian style. The MY2020 overhaul of the line-up is completed by this concentration of sophisticated technologies and performance solutions, in vehicles that embody the most refined expression of functional Italian design, all in inimitable Alfa Romeo style.

The Classic range harks back to a prestigious heritage, combined with technological innovation, and comprises three new colours: 6C Villa d’Este Red, GT Junior Ocra, and Montreal Green. The latter hue pays homage to one of the brand’s icons, the Alfa Romeo Montreal, launched 50 years ago.

The organization, which is praising its 110th birthday celebration this year, says the fresh introductions join convenience and elevated level execution with broad new innovation, network and wellbeing highlights.

These two new vehicles are the most recent in a line of vehicles that different makers are creating that they need to be appropriate for a circuit, just as doing the shopping.

As such, alongside all that oomph under the bonnet, you can fit five people in each of these models and there’s space for more than a couple of pots of hand sanitiser in the boot after you’ve been to the supermarket.

The result – an ergonomic, harmonious series of lines and instruments, volumes and spaces enveloping the driver – is a complex, sophisticated piece of work.”

So it’s quite nice inside the cabin, then, and the instruments aren’t in funny places. Fancy talk aside, there are certainly a lot of smooth, stylish lines along with the dashboard and on the driving paraphernalia, and you know they will be more pleasant to perch inside than austere offerings from the past, what with all the carbon fibre, comfy seating and tech.
