Stellaris is going to be a great merge of Fiat and Peugeot for the ‘survival of the fittest’. Both companies agreed to the term that the companies should merge. The shareholders of both the companies voted and accepted the Fiat Peugeot merger terms that this is the best for everyone.
Stellantis will be having around 400,00 employees and will have Jeep, Ram Trucks, Alfa Romeo and Maserati brands under their umbrella. This is going to be a huge tie-up and is being said that it is the 4th largest carmaker after Toyota, Volkswagen and Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance.
This has been done in order to survive the growing technological changes in the industry. Moreover, they will be based in the Netherlands with large operations in France, Italy, and the United States. They presently have a down hand as they don’t have the electric vehicle line up and are not active in the largest car market, China. They are supposed to face major problems in the department of the initial market but as being observed they have the ideas in their mind. Fiat Chrysler’s merger with PSA will surely bring some innovative ideas to work. Though the company officials say that they are all ready for the market to hit their cars, the experts suggest that they are still not very prepared for the ever-changing market and their growing needs for sustainable cars.
