For Dubai police traffic management system, they have launched a new service with the plan to reduce traffic congestion on the Dubai roads and allow drivers for planning their routes better.
Dubai Police has introduced this new free service for all road users in the emirate. The service is added into the existing Dubai police Smart app, and it alerts the drivers of any major accidents happened on the roads of the emirate. The real-time alerts are sent to the drivers and inform them about the temporary closures on the streets so that they can take an alternative route instead.
“Providing the community with smart solutions reflects Dubai Police’s keenness to achieve the strategic objectives of the government to transform Dubai into a smart city,” said Brigadier Khalid Nasser Alrazooqi, Director of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence at Dubai Police.
The Dubai Police mobile app can be installed in Smartphones and is available for both iOS and Android devices from Apple Store and Play Store respectively.
Dubai police launch alert system in the latest update to the Dubai Police app. It contains several smart services that allow users to enquire about the status of financial cases, request a traffic accident report against an unknown party, request to pay traffic fines in installments or upload a document of proof when requesting modification of fines.
