The all-new Taycan is the main vehicle delivered in the UAE that is both completely electric and an extravagance sports cantina. Panther has the I-Pace yet it’s more in the form of different EVs as a high-riding SUV style, while the Porsche is an unadulterated, low-threw Stuttgart sportster with an undeniable association with the organization’s games vehicle legacy.

Porsche has hit the electric vehicle market with precisely such an effect you’d trust that an industry force to be reckoned with of its height may make. The Taycan, a four-entryway quick stupendous traveler that is somewhat more modest than the organization’s current Panamera model yet is surely not the lesser vehicle of the two. The all-new Porsche Taycan in 2020 is the company’s first all-electric only model in the lineup. Power comes via two synchronous motors, one mounted on each axle, making the four-door saloon an all-wheel drive. It gets the world’s first two-speed transmission in an EV, installed on the rear axle. The Taycan is paired with variable torque distribution and Porsche Traction Management (PTM).

The Taycan ushers in Porsche’s new design direction with a minimalistic theme that looks to the future but at the same time pays homage to its past. The ‘flying’ that curves from the roof down to the tail is carried over from the 911 but offers more space to allow for rear-seat passengers

The car sits low and wide, giving it a purposeful sports car stance that is most noticeable from the front, accentuated under a sloping bonnet reminiscent of the 911. Two pronounced wings on either side house the new-look LED matrix headlights, while at the rear, a full-width illuminated lightbar incorporates three-dimensional letters spelling out ‘Porsche’.

The Taycan has an innovative interior with a wide range of customization options – including an entirely leather-free interior for the first time. The early 1963 Porsche dash provided the inspiration for the Taycan’s curved instrument display (which has four different modes) the dashboard stretches across the entire width of the vehicle in the shape of a wing. A central 10.9-inch infotainment display and an optional passenger display add to the wow factor. Better still, the Taycan boasts haptic-touch screen menus that can be operated by the simple voice command of “Hey Porsche”.

The Taycan is the first production vehicle with a system voltage of 800 volts. This is a particular advantage when high-power charging access is available, allowing exceptionally short charging times. Taycan drivers can comfortably charge their cars with up to 11kW AC charger at home, at work on a fast industrial charger, or at any public charging point while running errands.
